With more confidence you likely keep your cool in the event of an attack, or be able to diffuse and escape.

Always be aware of your situation, trust your gut to know when to avoid, diffuse, escape, or assert physical defense. As a last resort: strike first. Observe your targets, commit to your strikes.
You must also use keen observation for remembering, recalling, and repeating the event to law enforcement.

By recovering quickly and refusing to give up. When you attack, attack all the way. Commit to your actions until you are able to escape.
